Design Shanghai 2017

The Associative Design – The Best of Portugal participated in Design Shanghai 2017, one of Asia’s leading international design events, held from 8–11 March 2017 at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, in China. This marked an important step in expanding the international presence of Portuguese design in the Asian market, bringing a curated selection of high-end furniture, lighting, and decorative pieces to a discerning global audience.

Under the brand’s core values of innovation, craftsmanship and sustainability, the exhibition showcased the excellence and versatility of contemporary Portuguese design, combining traditional techniques with modern aesthetics and functionality.

Design Shanghai 2017 attracted over 50,000 visitors, including architects, interior designers, developers, and media representatives from across Asia and beyond. Associative Design’s presence created strategic opportunities for market visibility, networking and business development, positioning Portugal as a source of premium, design-led solutions for the international interior and contract sectors.
