Expo 2025 OSAKA

Presented under the theme “2nd Life”, the exhibition curated by Associative Design for the Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka explores the regenerative potential of materials in contemporary design. Inspired by the forest and the sea—symbols of Portuguese identity—the exhibition connects tradition, innovation, and sustainability. The selected works prioritise reuse, durability, and aesthetic renewal, reflecting a conscious approach to design. Featuring Portuguese designers and brands committed to circular practices, “2nd Life” highlights creativity and ecological awareness. Design emerges here as a cultural discipline capable of addressing global challenges with vision, responsibility, and resilience.
