Expo Dubai 2020

Associative Design – The Best of Portugal proudly participated in Expo Dubai 2020, a landmark global event held from October 2021 to March 2022 under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. Integrated within the Portugal Pavilion, located in the Sustainability District, the project showcased a carefully curated selection of contemporary furniture and design pieces that exemplified the values of innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

Under the creative direction of Associative Design, the presentation reflected Portugal’s commitment to quality and ecological responsibility, with a special focus on natural materials, circular design principles and cultural identity. The exhibition attracted thousands of international visitors, including designers, architects, investors and government representatives, generating valuable exposure and business leads for Portuguese brands.

This participation reinforced Portugal’s positioning as a global reference in sustainable and creative industries, strengthening ties with Middle Eastern and Asian markets and contributing to the international recognition of design “Made in Portugal”.
